my name is Dale Watts. I am a musician and living in Stockholm for 24 years. I'm a singer and songwriter.

I am building bamboo bicycles. I got the idea last summer. I did a lot of research on the internet and I started to build my first bike in November.

Albert Einstein said "Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value".

I chose the bamboo because of its uniquness, strengths and it is a very good renewable resource. Using bamboos is good for environment and use of bamboo creates a smaller carbon footprint then building a common bicycle.

I think that bamboo bicycle may become a good symbol of social responsibility in XXI Century. I hope that not only for me.

'Knowledge angel' from ZINIS - Vita introduced me with Latvian guys making freak bikes in Riga. I think this is a really good idea. I guess bamboo is a good material also for freak bikes - Vita calls it eco-innovation. I would be happy to be part of it!
